You know that very special time in your life when, just after you triumph over something or otherwise come through a long, tedious and trying period, you finally get the chance to sit back and reflect on everything, coming at length to the realisation that there is, in actuality, no time like the present? Should I be studying right now? The answer is most definitely yes. Do I have the motivation? THAT answer most decidedly tends in a negative direction. To contextualise my little spiel here, I have - for the past two weeks as of yesterday - been studying for and sitting the biggest exams of my schooling career. Today it was maths, and let me tell you, I honestly think I'll be lucky to get a D. Seriously, I wouldn't wipe up my dog's slobber with that mortified piece of paper; I'm currently fluctuating between rage at my own mathematical incompetence and deep, genuine sorrow as to the bleakness of that score when I get it back. EH :(
